Back by popular demand - It's your zany local vintage vinyl spinster DJ Action Slacks with her inclusive pop-up lezzie bar and dance party - The Jett Set!

This event was established in response to the closure of yet another local lesbian bar a few months ago. Portland likely has one of the highest populations of queer women per capita in the country - Yet, gay lady–centric nightlife remains far less supported than it should be.

We need spaces to gather and we need a variety of them.

The Jett Set is a vintage vinyl party named for one of the coolest, most dykenamic musicians of all time - Joan Jett.

DJ Action Slacks hosts & spins with her alter egos: DJ Guilty Pleasure & DJ Obvious Choice, with all three versions of her spinning a variety of vintage vinyl from the 1970s & 1980s, plus a dash of the 1990s. Expect rare dance-floor delights, beloved "cool" classics, & songs you’ll want to sing along to. Funky Soul, Pop, Rock, Funk, Punk, Hip-Hop, Disco, and more!

Whether you’re looking for a joyful night out with friends or hoping to make some new "connections", this event is designed to fill your big gay cup with music, camaraderie, & love. Please come dance, and help spread the word.
