Heavy Metal Sewïng Cïrcle

Hosted by:
  • Wednesdays, 10:00pm11:00pm

The Heavy Metal Sewïng Cïrcle explores the liminalities between classic rock and classic metal. From heavy 60s acts like Vanilla Fudge and Cream to 70s proto-metal pioneers like Rainbow, Sabbath, Priest and Scorpions, no stone is left unturned--unless it doesn't deserve to be.

The vision here is to play the songs that SHOULD have been radio hits, with no attention paid to what money changed hands or what Clear Channel deemed appropriate. We all know that there's a lot more to Sabbath than "Iron Man" "Paranoid" and "War Pigs." So why are those the only songs that FM radio ever plays? Why spin "Breakin the Law" ad nauseum when Judas Priest wrote so many albums full of classics?

Get ready for a great listening experience where you are sure to discover a multitude of songs that belong in the classic canon but somehow got overlooked or under promoted. Get ready for the Heavy Metal Sewïng Cïrcle with your host --internationally acclaimed musician, critic, and metal dignitary Dj Nate C.
