Their names may not be well-known to mainstream music audiences, but you’ve most likely heard their voices. In fact, if you listen to records made between 1962 and 1975 you’ve probably heard their voices A LOT.
THIS is Part one of Two episodes celebrating the evolution of these American Musical treasures from a pioneering gospel group known as the Drinkard Singers, to a NYC Back-up group simply known as “The Group”, to their headliner status as “The Sweet Inspirations”.
