Things are getting theatrical, gothic, and… maybe a little chaotic this month on Flick Fix.

Austin kicks things off with two major new releases that couldn’t be more different. First up is Wicked: For Good, the long-awaited conclusion to Jon M. Chu’s two-part musical spectacle. Does Act II soar higher than a broomstick or wobble on its landing? Well… you’ll have to tune in to hear where Austin ultimately lands on that score.

Then it’s time to venture into shadowy laboratories with Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein. With Oscar Isaac, Mia Goth, and Jacob Elordi bringing Mary Shelley’s tale to life once again, del Toro puts his signature creature-feature stamp all over the classic story. Did this modern retelling electrify Austin—or leave him stitching together mixed feelings? The verdict stays mysterious… for now.

And for this month’s Spotlight Review, Austin spins the clock all the way back to his middle school days. Inspired by a long-forgotten memory—and maybe some questionable early-2000s fashion choices—he revisits Rat Race, the ensemble comedy directed by Jerry Zucker of Airplane! fame. Was this frantic cross-country farce as funny as he remembered? Has time been kind to its brand of humor… or has the race gotten a little bumpier with age?

Find out all that and more on the latest episode of Flick Fix.
