Clark County is one of just a few counties in Washington state that took advantage of the Home Rule. The Charter itself specifies that it is to be reviewed every five years by an elected commission. Tracy and Teresa do today’s interview about this year’s election for a new set of Commissioners in Nov 2025. In the Charter Review process, voters get two chances to have their say: first, when they elect their districts’ charter review commissioners, and second, when they vote on the proposed charter amendments.
