Life's Not a Race

F1 is the slickest movie ever made, and slickness becomes the organizing principle that reconciles a lumpy mass of ingredients; all you can see is the producers' calculations. Sorry, Baby is the best realist comedy-drama of the year so far,  and the force that integrates its many ingredients is something much better: heart.
