Darcy Guyant is a retired Coast Guard commander and helicopter pilot. For 18 years he was battling stormy water rescues that took his love of adventure to oftentimes terrifying levels. But helping and saving people in trouble is a deep part of who he is. Today, he shares some of his stories for young readers, inspiring them to give, connect and embrace all that life has to offer.
