5 Minute Labor Break: Fort Vancouver Regional Library Workers

Derya Ruggles discusses the ongoing contract bargaining between the Fort Vancouver Regional Library workers and the FVRL administration. 

While administrators have generous compensation, the front line workers - Library Assistants, Security Guards, Book Mobile drivers, Library programmers, Book Shelvers, and the people who staff the front desks - are struggling to make ends meet, and in some cases, to even avoid homelessness.
