Episode 15; You Need a Hug?

For this episode, we handed the mic over to Bruce Poinsette, one of our 2022 Community Storytelling fellows, and photographer Intisar Abioto, who gathered a group of Black Oregonians—both those who arrived recently and those who grew up here—for a dinner conversation about tensions between transplants and life-long residents. In this episode, Bruce and Intisar revisit portions of that conversation and reflect on the themes of Black unity, community building, and the liberatory possibilities of place.
