Making Connections - Juneteenth Freedom Celebration - 7/27/22

We visited the Juneteenth 2022 Freedom Celebration, held on a rainy afternoon in Vancouver’s Esther Short Park.  The event commemorates the liberation of the last African American slaves in Texas by American Soldiers in 1865.
