<< Mating Calls
For our first show during Black History Month, MTS and The Jerk are bringing it back to the basics by providing you with an international mix of oldies and newbies from across the globe. You'll hear artists from twelve different countries-most of them in West Africa-that demonstrate the bright textures and enduring influence of Afrobeat, funk, Kwaito, reggae, dub and more. There will also be talk of the compilations and fellow XRAY djs who have exposed us to some of these delicious and catchy sounds.
