Today I want to give you listeners a sonic thank you card for another astonishingly successful fund drive at XRAY FM. Today I will be playing some of my favorite tracks from Mali and neighboring West African countries, a sampling of the musical influences sometimes referred to as desert blues. This is deep music, trance inducing music, some of my favorite music on the planet. I do some variation of this episode every year for the holidays, but this year I am moving it up to thank everyone who participated in the XRAY FM Fall Fund Drive this year. Thank you XRAY nation!!
