Tonites Afterparty is a deep one. Our city of Portland is in pain. People have been on the streets for 75 days now demanding justice for Black lives and the end of police brutality and are being met with even more violent attacks from the state and recently have been attacked from the right. People are getting hurt. Tonite we call on Obatala, who is the Orisha of healing and peace in the Santiera religion to posess myself and, thru this music, bring your healing and peace to the airwaves and the hearts of the Portland People. Our alter is set up, our mind is clear we are ready for the task. Its a very special version of the afterparty.
