Measure 106: Injecting Inequality into Reproductive Health

12:00pm, 10-26-2018
<< City Club of Portland

In November, Oregonians face Measure 106, which would prohibit using state funds to pay for abortion. The City Club of Portland believes this measure introduces gross inequalities in our health care system because it would prevent many women of color, low-income women, and women employed by government from getting the reproductive care they need. City Club published its first report advocating against a similar proposal in 1978, and another in 2014. Our stand today remains the same.

Join us for a frank discussion about this assault on reproductive rights in Oregon. Our guest speakers represent diverse perspectives, but all come to the same conclusion: defeat Measure 106.

We’ll hear from an organizer who has worked on reproductive rights for many years, a county commissioner who is also a physician, and a Texan with many years experience in reproductive rights policy-making who can share what happens when women lose the right to make health care decisions.

What is being done in regulating such abortions, are the minority being accorded the right information about what care they are able to get. Are prosecutions on the rise to curtail such a vice? questions we all need to answer.

I've never heard of this drug being impotent. Throughout the world there are many conversations about the miraculous properties of viagra indiacialis.com/indian-v... against erectile dysfunction. I think that millions of men can not be wrong, so it is better to choose the most popular remedy as a therapy.
