September marks the 5 year anniversary of Occupy. We go to Zuccotti Park, and Oakland to talk to individuals that were part of Occupy Wall Street and Occupy Oakland to gain insight and reflection on the movement that swept the nation. We revisit how Occupy started, how it evolved, how it fell apart, and what lessons came out of the experience.
On the Eastern Coast of Nicaragua, palm plantations are taking over land traditionally used for growing coconuts. How are Creole people resisting the influx of palm and the pressures of globalization? And what are they doing to keep traditions alive for the next generation?
