On tonight's Double Bummer (Saturdays 12am-2am), interviews KEXP DJ and blogger Greg Vandy about his recently published book "26 Songs In 30 Days: Woody Guthrie's Columbia River Songs and the Planned Promised Land in the Pacific Northwest", which covers the famed folksinger's songwriting journey along the Columbia River paid for the Bonneville Power Administration. Greg will be appearing at Powell's Books, Inc. on Hawthorne on May 9th to discuss his new book and folk music with Mudhoney guitarist Steve Turner.
